Favorday seeks to make up for this by being a holiday celebrating planned acts of kindness. Here's how you play Favorday -- on Favorday, March 12th, 2008, you do planned favors for people, just like you would plan on giving a gift to somebody for the holidays. Examples could be:

• I'm going to clean out my neighbor's garage!
• I'm not going to cut off anybody in traffic today!
• I'm going to rub my spouse's feet!

If you want, you can also create a "wishlist" and circulate it to our friends just like you would during the holidays, of favors you'd like done for you. Its all good. The only rule is: you can't spend money, these have to be favors, not gifts or presents.

This is, after all, a people powered holiday.
